Bonnie Hutchinson is the author of the bestselling book Transitions: Pathways to the Life and World Your Soul Desires.
Bonnie’s interest in transition was triggered at age 24 when her husband disappeared, leaving her with two small children and a wad of debts she didn’t know about. That experience fueled her passion to learn more about how to thrive during changes we choose and changes that just show up in our lives.
In her career, she’s been a graphic artist, teacher, community developer, executive director and government consultant. About the time her children were leaving home, she launched an award-winning organizational consulting firm. For the past twenty five years, she’s helped organizations, communities and individuals make successful transitions.
She has a degree in Education, post-graduate work in Family Studies and earned her Master’s degree in Organization System Design by going back to University after working in the field for twenty years. (She wanted to put a stronger theory base under her decades of practical experience.)
While living those experiences, she’s also been on a personal spiritual journey. Gradually she learned that when she quietly wove spiritual practices into her work with individuals and organizations, the results were amazing. Her clients’ conflicts were resolved. Long-standing barriers dissolved. Money flowed from unexpected sources. Ambitious goals were exceeded.
Bonnie has experienced major transitions in her personal life, career, education and spiritual path. She knows transition from the inside out and the downside up.
With knowledge, skill, humour and practical street smarts, she shares her depth of wisdom through individual coaching, group programs, workshops and keynote presentations.
She is available as a behind-the-scenes consultant to leaders and leadership teams who want to ensure their decisions and actions are in alignment with their mission and the highest good of all while thriving amidst their real world challenges and opportunities.
She also shares her wisdom through books and is now working on her second book, No Regrets: Things I Learned at My Mother’s Knee and Other Joints, due out in 2015.
As a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Bonnie feels a personal stake in the well-being of humanity and planet Earth. Her passionate commitment is to support you and your organization to thrive through transition times as you evolve into the next version of you at your finest.
